Designed as a dual‑purpose layer, it performs as a standalone outer garment in warm conditions or as a protective base layer beneath a jacket for all‑season versatility. Its close‑fitting design keeps armour securely positioned, ensuring consistent impact protection even during dynamic movement or aggressive riding.

Certified to EN17092‑3:2020 AA, Vanguard features slim, flexible Level 2 armour at the shoulders, elbows and back, with dedicated pockets for optional chest protectors. The heavy‑duty 600D polyester mesh outer shell is reinforced at key impact zones, while fine mesh panels across the torso and inner arms maximise airflow to keep you cool when the pace increases.

Comfort and practicality are built in, with an adjustable collar, elasticated cuffs with thumb loops, and trouser connection loops and zip for secure integration with riding trousers. A lockable utility chest pocket, YKK® zippers throughout and subtle reflective detailing complete a technical, performance‑driven design.
